Nicolai ZABLUDOWSKI, a Russian-born refugee with a Nansen passport, was in Bordeaux on June 20, 1940 and received a Brazilian visa on that date from a vice-consul acting under the authority of Luis Martins de Souza Dantas. He presumably received a Portuguese visa in Bordeaux from Aristides de Sousa Mendes on or around the same date.
