Simon, Marie Simone and Denise SURMAGNE sailed from Lisbon to Brazil on the ship Angola in June 1940 and then aboard the vessel Brazil from Rio de Janeiro to New York in November. Jacques SURMAGNE made the voyage to Brazil in August 1940 on the vessel Santarem and from Argentina to New York on the ship Argentina in October 1940.
