Georges SCHNEEBERGER was in Bordeaux on June 19, 1940, and presumably obtained a visa there from Aristides de Sousa Mendes.

He crossed into Portugal, where he resided in Figueira da Foz. He sailed on the vessel Pero de Alenquer from Lisbon to New York in May of 1941.
