About the Family

The GRENDA couple received visas from Aristides de Sousa Mendes in Bordeaux on June 18, 1940.

Blima GRENDA crossed into Portugal and was living in Figueira da Foz. She subsequently sailed on the Nea Hellas from Lisbon to New York in August 1940.
